Hey Everybody!--
Fall is definitely here--I'm sitting on the bus in Wisconsin right now and I'm dreading the frigid walk between here and the venue! So, I decided to procrastinate a little longer and write a blog to catch you guys up on the wonderful world of Gloriana. The Fearless Tour '09 officially came to an end about a week and a half ago, and let me just say on behalf of the band that it was the best summer of our lives! Getting to travel the country with a superstar like Taylor was incredible--and most importantly, we got to meet some of you guys and play our music for you live, which is why we do this in the first place! The tour ended with a night of hilarious pranks which I'm sure some of you have seen on youtube--if you haven't, they're worth checking out! This week, we had two huge bits of news-- 1. our new music video for our song "How Far Do You Wanna Go" premiered on CMT, and we couldn't be more excited about the way it turned out-- and 2. We actually got nominated for an American Music Award! Didn't see that coming! I need to take a moment and thank all of you who voted (and voted...and voted...and voted) for us to win the country breakthrough artist of '09. It means the world to us to have your support and we know that we would be nothing without you guys...so THANK YOU! We'll find out shortly if we ended up having enough votes to win--we'll keep you all posted. Well, the time has come for me to bundle up and face this cold weather. We're doing a show tonight with Jason Aldean--it's our first show with both Zack, our new bass player, and Trey, our new drummer! We're stoked to have a band...finally! Talk to you soon-
